Silverstone’s Newcastle team gets new senior hire

National chartered surveying and construction project management firm, Silverstone Building Consultancy, has appointed a new associate director at its Newcastle office.

Silverstone has hired experienced building surveyor, Rob Asquith, to strengthen the companywhich has three offices in Newcastle, Leeds and London.

Rob, originally from Yorkshire, brings 17 years’ experience and joins the team from Gleedsand prior to that he worked at Hollis for nearly 10 years.

He will lead the delivery of commercial property construction projects, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments and fit-outs. He will also provide building and dilapidations surveys, offering practical, commercially-focused advice to clients across the commercial property sector.

Rob said: “I had heard great things about Silverstone from people I already know in the team, and also from mutual clients so I was really pleased when a position came up. I’m looking forward to working with their great client base, including Hitachi.”
