Leeds office bolsters its team

The Leeds office at Silverstone Building Consultancy has appointed Tom Wright as senior chartered building surveyor.

Tom, from Leeds, joins with five years industry experience and will be involved in all aspects of commercial building consultancy and project management.

The announcement follows a number of recent hires across varying positions at the firm’s Leeds and Newcastle offices, where it employs 16 staff in total.

Tom said: “Silverstone Building Consultancy is highly regarded within the industry and I knew of the company when I studied building surveying at Northumbria University.

“Having gained industry experience when I moved back to Leeds, Silverstone was always a firm that I was keen to explore opportunities with.

“When a position arose, I jumped at the chance to join the team in Leeds. The fact that it is independent, ambitious and has progression routes in place, made it an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down.

“Moving forward, I am looking forward to working with its strong range of commercial clients and adding value.”

Silverstone Building Consultancy has built its reputation on four core values – reliability, integrity, competence and approachability.

Ben Rennocks, director in the Leeds office, said: “A warm welcome to Tom who joins our growing team. His appointment follows that of Bradley Wild, who recently joined as a chartered building surveyor.

“We have a mix of both experience and enthusiasm and that is a perfect blend to add real value to our clients. As we look towards 2023, we have a healthy pipeline of organic and new projects that we are looking forward to delivering for our loyal clients.”
