Silverstone was appointed as an Expert Witness by a homeowner who had a claim against a building contractor they were in dispute with regarding some building works to their property in Whitley Bay, including a single-storey rear extension. Our instruction was to assess the adequacy of the building works to date and provide recommendations for any remedial works and temporary works deemed necessary. Our role consisted of reviewing all of the previous building works, photographs, drawing plans and details in relation to the project, in conjunction with our inspection of the property and providing a subsequent report outlining our findings and recommendations.
