We were initially appointed by landlord Eriah to manage a dilapidations claim on 7 Commercial Street in Leeds, after shoe chain Ecco gave notice on the property.

After settling this claim, we were subsequently appointed to undertake a refurbishment project to ready the retail unit for a new tenant. The works included a full strip out of the previous tenant’s fixtures and fittings and the removal of an old oil storage tank. Internally new floor coverings were laid, we undertook internal redecorations and tested the remaining M&E fixtures. 

Externally, the property benefited from external elevation and shop front repairs before redecoration works. We also undertook repairs and replacements to the existing roof coverings, re-pointed and reflaunched the chimney stacks and re-designed and renewed rainwater goods.  

The 2,115 sq ft retail property is now on the market to let through Leeds-based Central Retail.
