Following a major fire at a neighbouring property, the landlord of this converted mill office building asked us to investigate whether the fire had caused any damage to the property. We were then instructed to carry out a revised reinstatement cost assessment which could be used by their insurers to ensure the appropriate level of cover was provided. Whilst we found only very limited damage caused by the nearby fire, we were able to reassure the owner that their property was appropriately covered by their insurers.
